Summer

Meet Summer!

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲.
Summer was rescued from a kill pen in late 2016. In 2017, she was adopted by Rylee Imhof!
Although we typically refer to her as grade, she was actually an off the track thoroughbred with an illegible lip tattoo. She was approximately 26 years old.
From her early years as a racehorse, spending time with Rylee, packing around in Colorado, and babysitting new foals, she had a valuable life.
I might add, she was also the softest horse ever. I mean her coat was incredibly soft all the time, with no effort. 
Summer passed away at home on July 28th, 2025.
