Meet Ruby!

Ruby is a 2003-model Appendix mare and a proud granddaughter of AQHA Hall of Famer Zips Chocolate Chip, as well as the standout racehorse Money Lender. As one of our cherished foundation mares, she welcomed her one and only Rolling Brass Ranch foal in May 2023, Deputy Dash To War.

Ruby can FLY across the pasture when the mood strikes! Around here, we affectionately call her “Puddle Biscuit.” Why? Because she has Seabiscuit in her pedigree... but let’s just say, she’s not exactly passionate about running. And while she has the prettiest little head, Ruby will politely inform you that touching her face is not appreciated.

Her best friend is Sadie, our other foundation mare.

Ruby has been a proud member of the Rogers County Sheriff's Office Mounted Patrol and Search and Rescue Team since 2021. She has completed the National Mounted Police Services Clinic and holds 20 CLEET-certified training hours.
